Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in Danville, VA This position involves providing high-quality emergency care in a busy, 31-bed emergency department serving patients of all ages. The role requires experienced ER nurses committed to delivering compassionate and efficient patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in Emergency Department, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), Handle with Care (available on-site), NIH (National Institutes of Health), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) or ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course).
• Preferred Qualifications: Extensive ER experience.
• Additional Information: Role involves serving a diverse patient population, with patient ratios of approximately 1:4. Candidates must be at least 60 miles from the facility to be considered for travel assignment. Travel is required, with consent for required drug screening and completion of a Criminal Questionnaire/Consent Form. The department utilizes MedHost (Emergency Department) and Meditech electronic health record systems.
• Submission Requirements: All required certifications must be completed prior to start date of 11/10/2026.
