Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse (RN) Denver, CO. This seasonal travel position involves providing specialized care in a busy PICU environment. The role requires delivering high-quality patient care to critically ill pediatric patients on a 12-hour night shift schedule.

Job Details

  • Specialty: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
  • Shift Time: Nights (7 PM 7 AM)
  • Shift Hours: 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Start Date: 11/16/2026
  • End Date: 02/15/2027
  • Required Qualifications: RN license, current PICU experience of at least 1 year, BLS & PALS certifications, location in Denver, CO; no minimum experience required.
  • Additional Information: The unit features 20 beds managed by a staff of 51, including bedside RNs and PCTs. It handles complex procedures such as conscious sedations, respiratory failure care, CT placements, and central line maintenance. The environment utilizes advanced equipment including Philip monitors, Alaris, and Medfusion IV pumps. Flexibility and a helpful, humble personality are valued in candidates.
