Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) Nights Location
This position involves floating to fill various clinical needs across the healthcare organization, including med surg, telemetry, and ER boarded patient care. The role requires experience in the US healthcare system, with responsibilities that may include charge duties on small units.
Job Details
- Certifications: ACLS, NIHSS
- Education Requirements: Valid State License; Compact license must be in hand at submission
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar clinical setting
- Location Requirements: Must have experience in the US healthcare system
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Patient Ratio Experience: 4-6 patients per nurse, depending on unit acuity
- Additional responsibilities: May include charge nurse duties on small units supporting staffing, bed flow, and coordination
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with BiPAP/CPAP management, Blood Product Administration, Cardiac Telemetry, Ventilated Patient Care, Central line management, Chest tubes, IV insulin protocols, Management of cardiac drips, Vasoactive drips, and other advanced clinical skills
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must include responses to prior experience at a Providence facility if applicable, with two references covering one year (six months for CNA) within the last three years
