Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry Nurse, MS TELE, in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing compassionate, patient-centered care to acutely ill individuals in a fast-paced environment. The nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with professional standards and regulations.

Job Details

• Position Description: Under the supervision of a nurse leader, independently prescribes, delegates, and coordinates nursing care to acutely ill patients. Performs the nursing process through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of safe, therapeutic care based on the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, ANA Code of Ethics, and California Nurse Practice Act. Creates an environment of compassionate caring, building trusting relationships, and integrating mind, body, and spirit modalities to support patient healing.
• Required Qualifications: Valid and unrestricted State of California Registered Nurse License (RN License); NIHSS certification; Bachelor's or associate degree from an accredited registered nursing program; 3 years of nursing experience; willing to float to DOU (Difficult Observation Unit); schedule includes night shifts from 12-hour shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Performs and documents the nursing process using scientific principles and hospital policies. Implements medical and nursing care plans, coordinating activities with healthcare team members. Ensures quality of care by adhering to standards, safety protocols, infection control policies, and medication procedures. Participates in staff meetings, professional governance, and continuing education. Maintains compliance with hospital policies, the BRN scope of practice, and ANA standards.
