Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in Puyallup, WA. This position involves providing high-quality care in a Level III Trauma Center with a focus on trauma, sepsis, COVID-19, stroke, and mental health patients. The ER nurse will support a busy, fast-paced environment caring for a diverse patient population from pediatrics to geriatrics.

Job Details

• Location: Puyallup, WA
• Shift Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, CPI; recent Epic experience; ER experience with cardiac rhythm interpretation, IV skills, and med administration; support on unit includes ER tech glucose checks, assist with splinting; recent Telemetry competency; 2 years of ER experience preferred.
• Responsibilities include working independently and as part of a team to deliver emergency care, utilizing equipment such as Epic electronic health records, Pyxis medication systems, and telemetry monitoring, with support from ER techs, social services, and pharmacy.
• Orientation includes badge and Epic training, mental health area orientation, and a precepted 12-hour shift.
• Supportive team environment with security, social work, pharmacy, and resource/float nurses available 24/7.
• Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, with schedule provided 3 weeks in advance.
• Submission requirements: Qualified candidates must be eligible to start on 11/02/2026 and work through 01/30/2027, with flexible scheduling options.
