Job Summary
Medical Surgical Oncology Nurse (MS ONC) The healthcare provider is seeking a qualified registered nurse for a temporary assignment on the Medical Surgical Oncology Floor. This role involves independently administering chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and injections, along with accessing port-a-caths, PICC lines, and Hickman catheters, while providing comprehensive clinical care to patients.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: No minimum experience required, valid nursing license, and relevant certification as applicable.
- Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Responsibilities include administering treatments, accessing vascular ports, performing venipunctures and catheter dressings, monitoring patient responses, maintaining accurate records, and providing patient education regarding medications and treatments.
- Must be proficient in Epic Electronic Medical Records system.
- Additional Information: Must arrive the Thursday before start to attend employee health appointment on Friday. Please do not accept the start date if unable to be there on time.
