Job Details

• Position Description: Telemetry Unit, cardiac and neuro patients, 30 beds (over 12 overflow), staffed by 50 core registered nurses, with shifts scheduled from Nights for 12 hours, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in ACLS and BLS, NIHHS certification, and valid licensure. No minimum years of experience required.
• Additional Responsibilities: Receive patients following procedures such as heart cath, pacemaker, ablation, watchman, valve repair, cardioversion. Maintain equipment including Tele boxes, Welch Allen vital sign machines, and Alaris IV pumps.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in EKG interpretation, IV start, and chest tube management.
• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours, with 3-4 weekend shifts per month, no on-call.
• Position Specifics: EMR system is Meditech; dress code is scrub uniforms with variable colors; no visible piercings allowed.
