Interventional Radiology (IR) Nurse Location unspecified. This position involves providing specialized nursing care in a NICOTINE-FREE acute care facility, supporting procedures such as MRI, interventional radiology, and anesthesia cases. The role emphasizes patient admission, discharge, medication administration, and monitoring for diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Job Details

  • Position Description: Admitting patients for procedures, discharging patients after procedures, follow-up visits or calls on inpatients/outpatients, administering medications for diagnostic cases, monitoring for MRI pacemaker cases, providing support for anesthesia cases in radiology, and providing moderate sedation for interventional radiology cases.
  • Required Qualifications: Certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), PALS (AHA); Education/Licensure: Valid license to submit; Experience: Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology nursing experience preferred; Location Requirement: NA; Years of Experience: 0.0.
  • Schedule: Varied day shifts with on-call during the week and weekend call, with 8-hour shifts and a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Additional Information: No float rotation is required.
  • Submission Requirements: Applicants must submit licensure documentation and are expected to adhere to the clients cancellation policy, which allows up to 36 hours of call-off during a 13-week assignment.
