Job Summary
The Surgical Technician/Operating Room Technician (ORT) position is located in an acute healthcare setting. The role involves assisting in surgical procedures across all service lines, supporting the surgical team, and ensuring sterile environment protocols are maintained. This position requires flexibility to cover various shifts including days, nights, and weekends as needed.

Job Details

Specialty: Surgical Technician/Operating Room Technician (ORT)
Schedule: 5 days per week, consisting of 8-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with call nights and weekends depending on staffing needs
Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Experience: Drivers License/State ID, UHS Skills Checklist, UHS Submission Packet, UHS Prior Employment Form; no minimum experience required
Responsibilities include assisting in surgical procedures, maintaining sterile fields, and supporting the surgical team during operations
Additional Information: Must be able to perform all service lines and support the overall surgical services provided in the facility
