Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) in a major healthcare facility. This role involves floating across various critical care departments, including ICU, Emergency Department, and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), within a large health organization. The position requires experienced RNs capable of managing adult critical care patients in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Certifications: California RN License, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) required.
• Education Requirements: BSN required for all RN positions.
• Experience Requirements: Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience; 2.5 years preferred.
• Location Requirements: Must hold a California RN license.
• Years of Experience: 2 years minimum.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting 11/17/2026 with an end date of 05/11/2027.
• Additional Information: This is a float pool position, requiring the ability to float to all UCSF campuses and departments including ICU, ED, and PACU. RTO (Requested Time Off) must be disclosed at the time of offer and approved by management.
• Certifications: Must have completed or be willing to complete ongoing required training modules.
• Submission Requirements: Must include two recent references from previous employers at the time of submittal and provide employment history with Dates Worked, Units, and Manager Names for rehire eligibility checks.
