Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor Nurse, located at a healthcare facility within a 50-mile radius of the organization, offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment caring for medical and surgical patients. This position involves providing high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced setting, requiring resilience, assertiveness, and teamwork.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: BLS certification, WI RN license (AHA or ARC certifications), Associate Degree or Certificate, and 2 years of experience in medical surgical nursing.
• Schedule: Rotating shift, 12-hour night shifts, minimum 36 hours per week, including every other holiday.
• Responsibilities include managing a case mix of medical and surgical patients such as joint replacements and general surgical cases.
• Candidates must be willing to float to Aspirus Stevens Point, Riverview, and Plover, as needed.
• No additional on-call or backup responsibilities are required; however, shifts may be available for sick calls.
• During flu season, unvaccinated travelers are required to wear masks at all times.
• The position requires a resilient, social, assertive team player capable of managing change and working hard in a demanding environment.
• Submission of a current WI RN license and BLS certification is required for consideration.
