Job Summary
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) needed in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing compassionate and cost-effective patient care to neonatal patients, ensuring safety, comfort, and optimal health outcomes. The position requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality neonatal care.

Job Details

• Certifications Required: California Registered Nurse License, Basic Life Support, Neonatal Resuscitation Program
• Education Requirements: Valid California RN license with current certification uploads within the last two weeks
• Location Requirements: California-based facility
• Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years preferred; 0 years minimum required
• Schedule: 3x12 Days shifts from 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with charting systems, community hospital or neonatal intensive care experience, minimum 2 years of experience
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information:
  • Provide competent, compassionate, and cost-effective patient care in accordance with hospital policies, scientific principles, and nursing standards.
  • Coordinate delivery of care ensuring patient safety, comfort, and hygiene.
  • Serve as communication liaison between nursing and medical staff.
  • Conduct initial and ongoing assessments, develop individualized care plans, and modify based on patient needs.
  • Administer treatments, medications, and perform various nursing skills including blood and blood product management, respiratory care, and neonatal-specific procedures.
  • Responsible for emergency interventions, accurate documentation, and effective collaboration with healthcare team members.
  • Participate in onboarding, complete required compliance modules, and adhere to policy guidelines.
  • Submit work history verification and relevant certifications prior to contract start date.
