Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in a 34-bed emergency department, located in a general healthcare facility. The role involves providing assessment, coordination, and delivery of nursing care for patients of all ages with diverse diagnoses, including stroke and semi-critical conditions. The position requires delivering holistic, individualized care in an acute setting.

Job Details

• Position Description: Responsible for the assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care in an emergency department setting with a patient census of approximately 120 per day.
• Required Qualifications: CA RN Licensure; BLS (AHA); ACLS; PALS; minimum of 2 years of ER experience; EPIC experience required; shift: 3 nights per week, 12-hour shifts, starting at 6:00 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with trauma, stroke, and critical care procedures; proficiency in emergency medications, airway management, and use of advanced equipment.
• Additional Information: The role involves managing a variety of emergency conditions including stroke, trauma, airway management, and critical patient assessments. Candidates must demonstrate flexibility to work rotating nights and adhere to compliance standards including timely completion of onboarding modules.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, ENPC, NIHSS.
• Schedule: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts, starting at 6:00 PM, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Submission Requirements: Interested candidates must submit current licensure, certifications, and references within the last year to ensure full compliance prior to starting.
