Description
Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse Location unspecified. This position involves providing specialized surgical nursing services within an orthopedic and spine surgery unit. The role includes supporting a variety of orthopedic total joint, spine, and robotic surgeries, with a focus on outpatient procedures and some inpatient care.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education, and Experience Requirements: BLS certification; minimum of 1 year of OR experience; current compact license in hand; no specific degree required; at least 1 year of experience preferred.
- Schedule: Dayshift, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting on 10/19/2026 through 01/18/2027.
- Additional Responsibilities: Support orthopedic, spinal, robotic surgeries including total joints, spine surgeries, and minimally invasive procedures. Must be able to circulate for hardstop cases, including joints and spine, and preferably have experience with surgical drains and wound Vac systems.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in spine and total joint procedures, robotic surgery, and orthopedic technology such as MAKO Robot Surgery System and XLIF.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Submission Requirements: Must include two references covering 1 year (or 6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years. Candidates must respond to COVID-19 and influenza vaccine questions at submission.
