Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor Nurse Nights This position is based in a healthcare facility where the nurse provides care to adult patients in a medical-surgical unit. The role involves delivering high-quality nursing care, monitoring patient conditions, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Certification, Education, and Experience: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications; at least 2 years of relevant experience required; valid nursing license; willing to wait for license to submit.
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week.
• Clinical Responsibilities: Providing care within the scope of medical-surgical nursing, including monitoring pacemakers, potassium levels, and basic telemetry.
• Additional Information: Experience with Meditech charting system and McKesson medication system highly preferred. The unit has 39 beds with a patient ratio of 1:6. The nurse may float to other medical-surgical units within scope of practice. First to float to Medsurg units, with optional tele experience preferred but not required.
• Certification Requirements: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
