Job Summary

Sioux City, Iowa Medical Surgical Floor professional supporting an interdisciplinary team in the provision and management of patient care. The role serves patients undergoing orthopedic, urology, general surgery, oncology, and medical procedures in a high-acuity clinical environment.

Job Details

Schedule: Day shifts consisting of 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week and every third weekend.
Required Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of Medical-Surgical and/or oncology experience.
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; American Heart Association (AHA) certification preferred, with American Red Cross or U.S. military certificates accepted.
- Active Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; American Heart Association (AHA) certification preferred, with American Red Cross or U.S. military certificates accepted.
- Active National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification, which may be obtained during onboarding.
- Iowa state licensure.
- Valid drivers license.
Preferred Qualifications: High-acuity care experience and prior travel experience.
Additional Information: Responsibilities include contributing professional and clinical knowledge to patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team. Clinical exposure includes orthopedic, urology, general surgery, oncology, and medical patients. Required drip experience includes heparin, patient-controlled analgesia, and epidural infusions. Chemotherapy experience may be applicable when appropriately certified. Navy blue scrubs are required. The assignment begins 11/23/2026 and concludes 02/22/2027.
