Television (TELE) Nurse Lodi, California Provides specialized nursing care for patients in a telemetry unit, ensuring compliance with established standards and utilizing critical thinking and professional judgment. Oversees and coordinates activities of nursing staff and collaborates with the healthcare team to deliver safe, quality care.
Job Details
- Shift Time: Rotating
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts, minimum 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) (preferred), Acute care facility experience (preferred), Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice (required), Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor (required), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from approved vendor (required)
- Essential Functions: Collects relevant data pertinent to the patients health or situation. Analyzes assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues. Develops, implements, and coordinates care plans, promoting health and safety. Evaluates progress, collaborates with team members, provides education to patients and families, participates in discharge planning, delegates tasks appropriately, and performs other duties as assigned.
- Additional Information: The nurse will deliver coordinated nursing care, supervise nursing staff, and prioritize patient safety and quality outcomes while collaborating across disciplines.
