Description
Job Summary
Pediatric Step Down Registered Nurse (RN) Baltimore Campus. This position involves providing specialized nursing care for pediatric and adolescent patients with complex needs, including traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, burns, and other critical conditions. The RN will work on a mixed unit focusing on rehabilitation and step-down care, supporting patients requiring extensive physical, occupational, and speech therapy.
Job Details
- Position: Pediatric Step Down RN (Rehab, not PCU)
- Location: Baltimore Campus (1st Floor Meyerhoff)
- Shift: 3x12 rotating shifts, Days (07:00-19:30) and Nights (19:00-07:30)
- Schedule: 36 hours per week
- Certifications: Active MD State license, BLS, CPI required
- Required Qualifications: RN license, BLS certification, CPI certification, 2+ years of experience; experience in pediatric rehabilitation, trauma, or intensive care preferred; skills include trach and ventilator management, respiratory and cardiac patient care, IV placement, wound care, and suctioning.
- Responsibilities include caring for pediatric and adolescent patients with diagnoses such as TBI, spinal cord injury, GSW, burns, feeding disorders, and post-ortho surgical recovery.
- Must be comfortable floating within scope and to the Largo campus as needed through 10/8/26, if required.
- Weekends and holidays required as scheduled.
- No on-call required.
