Job Summary
Medical Surgical With Telemetry (MS Telemetry) Nurse - Nights - Location: unspecified. This position involves providing comprehensive care to adult patients in a Medical Surgical with Telemetry unit, managing complex patient conditions including sepsis, UTI, AKI, pneumonia, and more. The role requires adherence to clinical standards and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: RN license in MD or a Compact state, BLS, NIHSS certification, 1 year of experience, and the ability to work nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) for 36 hours per week.
• Preferred Qualifications: Charge experience, charting system experience (preferably Epic), community hospital and LTAC experience, trauma level I or II experience, and travel experience.
• Responsibilities: Managing adult patients with diagnoses such as sepsis, UTI, AKI, pneumonia, and cholecystitis; utilizing special equipment like chest tubes and feeding tubes; administering blood products and managing vasoactive drips; performing patient assessments and interventions within scope of practice for MS/Tele unit.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS required.
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must meet all specified certifications and license requirements to be considered.
• Additional Information: Floating within scope and to other units or sister facilities is required. The position includes weekend shifts, involving every other weekend. Orientation is 48 hours prior to start.
