Job Summary
The Cardiology Step Down Nurse is a registered professional nurse providing high-quality, patient-centered care within a specialized step-down unit. This role involves assessing patient needs, implementing evidence-based interventions, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: NYS Registered Nurse License, BLS Certification, at least 2 years of cardiology, tele, or ventricular assist device (VAD) experience, minimum 2 years of registered nurse experience, at least 1 year of travel experience for travel positions (not required for Per Diem positions), EPIC experience highly preferred, Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred or relevant experience with active enrollment in a BSN program.
• Schedule: Days shift, 11.5 hours, minimum of 34.5 hours per week.
