Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) located in en_US provides specialized nursing care to patients requiring close monitoring and care. This role involves supervising and collaborating with healthcare team members to deliver safe, effective, and patient-centered care. The RN will be responsible for performing nursing assessments, developing care plans, and ensuring positive patient outcomes throughout the assignment.
Job Details
- Position Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) maintains the delivery of quality care by following the nursing care plan and supervising Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications include BLS Certification prior to first shift and ACLS Certification prior to first shift (CIRH ONLY). Education requirements involve a minimum of two years of bedside clinical experience, with at least one year of ICU experience preferred. No specific location or years of experience are mandated.
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Performs a nursing assessment on all patients within eight hours of admission, develops individualized care plans, and initiates discharge planning from the day of admission. Participates in team activities to foster a positive work environment and ensures patient safety by adhering to safety policies and procedures.
