Job Summary
Sterile Processing Technician Specialty in Sterile Processing Location unspecified. This role involves sterilization and decontamination of surgical instruments within a healthcare facility. The position requires experience in sterile processing procedures and equipment operation, supporting surgical teams to ensure optimal patient care and operational efficiency.

Job Details

Certifications: IAHCSMM/HSPA or CBSP, Steris/Sterrad sterilization equipment, Censitrac instrument tracking, high-level disinfection (HLD), use of washers/sterilizers, case cart preparation, handling endoscopic ultrasound scopes (EUS), ear/nose/throat, general, laparoscopic, neurology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, plastics, robotics, urology, biological indicators, chemical indicators, flash sterilization, steam sterilization testing/monitoring, Ortho/Totals, colorectal / minimally invasive surgery (MIS).
Education & Experience: No minimum years of experience required, with a focus on sterile processing within a healthcare environment.
Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, from 08:00 to 16:30, Monday through Friday.
Additional Information: Prior experience in teaching hospital or community hospital settings preferred, with a focus on sterile processing operations and equipment management.
