The position requires an experienced, independent healthcare professional capable of managing complex procedures and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.

Job Details

• Position Description: Full-time, 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts, starting as soon as possible.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (preferred), RN License in state of employment or as part of a compact licensing agreement, BLS certification via AHA.
• Schedule: 4 Days, 10 Hours per Day, Minimum of 40 Hours per Week.
• Responsibilities: Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for surgical patients. Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocols, monitor for side effects and treatment effectiveness, document patient history and care, and educate patients and family members. Meet expectations of applicable nursing competencies and ensure safety protocols are followed during all procedures.
• Additional Information: This role requires floating to main and other departments as needed, along with on-call duties comprising 1-2 nights per week and 1-2 weekend call shifts. Must demonstrate the ability to work independently and provide complex care in the operating room setting.
