Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor RN Arlington, TX. This role involves providing patient care on a 30-bed MedSurg unit within a busy healthcare facility. The RN will support post-surgical patients, manage pain, and utilize various equipment to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Certifications: BLS; Education/Experience: RN license with MedSurg or acute care experience; Location: Arlington, TX; Minimum Years of Experience: 1 year;
• Schedule: Day Shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week;
• Responsibilities include supporting post-surgical patients such as those undergoing cholecystectomy, cystoscopy with stent placement, and managing pain and CIWA patients;
• The unit operates primarily with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 6:1, utilizing equipment like Hoyer lifts, Sara Steady, and bladder scanners;
• EMR: Meditech;
• Float: Float rotation may be required;
• Candidates must have BLS certification and at least 1 year of RN experience in a MedSurg or acute care setting.
