Job Summary
Medical Surgical Neurology Nurse (MS NEURO) Location unspecified. This position involves providing specialized nursing care on a medical surgical neurology floor with a focus on patient safety, accurate documentation, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. The role includes floating to multiple inpatient units including medical, surgical/pediatric, orthopedic/neuro, and sub-acute units.

Job Details

• Position Description: Seeking experienced nurses with education verification, current Wisconsin License, NIHSS certification, and CPR/BLS.
• Required Qualifications: RN licensure in Wisconsin; current CPR/BLS certification; NIHSS certification; Basic Life Support (BLS); educational verification; 0 years minimum experience.
• Schedule: Night shift (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM), 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Travel Registered Nurses (RNs) are required to float to multiple inpatient units. This position will require working every other weekend and holiday. Responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process, administering medications, documenting care, developing patient care plans, participating in performance improvement activities, and supporting patient safety and experience with critical thinking and escalation when necessary.
