Job Summary
Dialysis Unit - Location not specified. This position involves providing dialysis care within a dedicated healthcare facility. The role requires delivering specialized patient care in a fast-paced environment, adhering to safety and clinical protocols.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education, and Experience: Valid Iowa or multistate license, American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support certification, 24 months of current dialysis experience, including inpatient care, utilizing Fresenius machines, with experience in hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis preferred.
- Schedule: Rotating shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Requirements: Work history must show current dialysis experience, with all qualifications verified through references within 24 months. Must have a valid drivers license.
- Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive dialysis treatment to patients, monitor patient status, operate dialysis equipment, and ensure compliance with clinical standards and safety protocols.
- Floating: Float rotation may be required across all campuses.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must be available for orientation on 10/26, 11/09, or 11/23, and be prepared to work 1-2 of the upcoming winter holidays unless the unit is closed.
