Job Details

• Location: Research Medical Center, Kansas City, MO
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week

• Required Qualifications: Certifications in CPR (Crisis Prevention Institute preferred), current state licensing as an RN, and one year of healthcare experience.
• Responsibilities include prioritizing patient needs, performing procedures such as port placements and chest tube management, and maintaining patient safety and comfort.
• Typical procedures performed on the unit include port placement and chest tubes.
• The ideal candidate will be patient-focused, attentive to details, a team player, and possess a positive, coachable attitude.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Candidates should be comfortable working in an emergency environment, be skilled in time management, and capable of de-escalation when needed.
