Job Summary
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse in Plano This position involves providing specialized care in a 41-bed NICU unit with a team of over 60 staff members. The role requires delivering high-quality nursing services for neonatal patients, supporting their unique needs and ensuring optimal clinical outcomes.
Job Details
- Position Description: Provides nursing care in a Level II-III NICU setting, involving procedures such as respiratory support, micropreemie care, and post-surgical care (excluding heads/hearts).
- Required Qualifications: Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP). Experience in Level II-III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
- Schedule: Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The unit mainly hires for team-oriented candidates with a focus on teamwork and collaboration. Candidates with NICU experience are preferred. The role involves working four weekend shifts per 4-week schedule, with no on-call requirements.
