Job Summary
The organization is seeking a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Healthcare Professional in the en_US locale. This position involves providing patient care in a specialized unit, requiring the ability to titrate pressors, with experience in electronic health record systems. The role is scheduled for day shifts and involves working every other weekend.
Job Details
- Position Description: BILH coversheet required at time of submission. Experience with Epic systems is required. Candidates must be able to titrate pressors. Day one pass/fail testing will be administered, with practice tests available via Relias.
- Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, with every other weekend work required. Floating to other units such as ED holds, inpatient holds, PACU, and boarding units may be necessary in 4-hour blocks. Floating occurrence is rare. Weekly start dates are Mondays.
- Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (American Heart Association) certification, Epic experience, minimum of 1 year of healthcare experience, with at least 6 months separated from previous employment at the organization (perm, per diem, or contract). Must be able to titrate pressors.
- Additional Information: Level 1 trauma experience is preferred; if no prior travel experience, level 1 trauma is required. Candidates will need to undergo Relias testing during onboarding and on day one.
