Job Summary
Telemedicine (TELE) Nurse Night Shift Location: not specified. This role involves providing specialized nursing care in a telemetry unit that includes medical, surgical, and cardiac patients. The position is scheduled for night shifts, with responsibilities encompassing patient monitoring, administering treatments, and collaborating with medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS Certification, NIHSS; Education Requirements: current licensure to submit; Experience Requirements: minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience; Location Requirements: not specified; Years of Experience: 0.
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Responsibilities include providing care for patients with diagnoses such as post-cardiac procedures, sepsis, respiratory distress, and other acute conditions, primarily involving cardiac and surgical patients.
- Will float between the 300 unit and the main unit as needed, with floor-specific orientation of 6 hours.
- Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Certification, NIHSS.
- Submission requires current license.
- Hospitalist or intensivist staff is on call after hours; RT 24/7 available, pharmacy after 10 PM using Marian.
