Job Summary
OR (Operating Room) Surgical Technician/Operating Room Technician in a healthcare facility. The position involves supporting a variety of surgical procedures, including total joints, general, vascular, and spine cases, with a focus on maintaining sterile environments and assisting surgical teams.

Job Details

• Position Description: Support all types of cases except transplant, including CVORCABG, valve, pacers, lead extractions, lung cases; Main ORorthopedic, general, vascular, neuro/spine, ENT, trauma.
• Shift Schedule: Evening shifts, 12-hour shifts (6:30 am - 3 pm), minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Certifications and Experience: BLS Certification, COVID Vaccine Certification; minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Additional Requirements: Strong experience with total joints, general, vascular, and spine surgeries.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Other Details: Hospital employs Cerner Surginet electronic medical record system; charge nurse reports to the Clinical Supervisor; hospital provides scrubs; call required (1-2 weeknights, approximately once per month on weekends); 1 shift with preceptor for floor-specific orientation.
• Start and End Dates: 11/09/2026 through 02/08/2027.
• Submission Requirement: Certification of BLS and COVID vaccination required.
