Job Summary
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Nurse Night Shift Oakland. This role involves providing specialized critical care for pediatric patients within a Level 1 trauma center, with a focus on neonates, adolescents, infants, and pediatric diagnoses. The position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, float to other facilities as needed, and contribute to high-level patient care.
Job Details
- Position: PICU Nurse
- Location: Oakland
- Certifications: CA Registered Nurse License, American Heart Association Basic Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- Experience: Minimum of 0 years required; PICU experience preferred, including at least 2 years charting system experience (Epic), and pediatric critical care background.
- Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: CA RN License, BLS, PALS, 1 year of related experience, proficiency with Epic charting system, experience in pediatric intensive care.
- Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric CVICU experience, trauma level I or II experience, prior charge nurse experience, and additional certifications as relevant.
- Additional Information: Ability to float to other UCSF facilities as needed, RTO requests require prior approval, start date scheduled for 10/27/2026, with end date of 01/19/2027.
