Description
Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a qualified Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU OH) nurse for a position in the cardiothoracic intensive care unit. This role involves providing specialized, high-acuity care to patients recovering from complex heart, lung, and vascular surgeries or managing severe cardiac and respiratory conditions at a healthcare facility. The position offers a dynamic environment requiring clinical expertise and adaptability.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating day/night shifts, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications include ACLS and BLS from the American Heart Association (AHA). Candidates must have a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years specifically in the CT/CVICU. Experience with a Level 1 trauma unit, EPIC electronic medical records, and travel experience is required. The position requires candidates to be separated from the healthcare provider for at least 6 months prior to consideration.

- Additional Information: Weekly orientation is provided; candidates may wear any color scrubs.
