Description
Job Summary
The organization is seeking an Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) for a position at the East Campus. This role involves providing surgical nursing care for patients undergoing a variety of procedures including Gynecology, General Surgery, Urology, Robotics, Oncology, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, ENT, Plastic Surgery, and Interventional Pulmonology. The RN will be responsible for supporting a fast-paced surgical environment, adhering to safety and clinical standards, and ensuring quality patient care throughout their shift.
Job Details
- Position Description: Must have scrub experience and orthopedic experience; required for a 10-hour evening shift rotation, including short call, weekend call, and night call.
- Certifications, Education, and Experience Requirements: RN license (application permissible at time of offer), CPR American Heart Association, 1-3 years of related work experience, basic computer skills, proficiency with electronic medical records (Epic experience preferred, EMR experience required).
- Schedule: 10-hour evening shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Transitioning to Epic Electronic Medical Record system in summer. No local travelers acceptedmust reside at least 50 miles from the facility. Orientation is weekly, every Monday barring a holiday. Candidates should provide availability for interviews, and all RTO requests must be presented at the time of submission.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of relevant surgical nursing experience.
- Start Date: 10/26/2026.
- End Date: 01/23/2027.
