Job Summary
Emergency Room Nurse Greenville, NC. This position involves providing specialized emergency care within a 92-bed facilitys neuro-medicine and neurosurgical subspecialties. The role focuses on managing acute stroke, seizure, trauma, and other critical conditions, requiring strong trauma and telemetry experience.
Job Details
- Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association); ACLS (American Heart Association); PALS (American Heart Association). Licenses: RN (Compact Accepted).
- Education Requirements: Current RN license with a minimum of 2 years of ER experience.
- Location Requirements: Must be licensed as an RN and able to work within the designated geographic area.
- Years of Experience: 2 years minimum required.
- Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: ER experience, BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications, RN license, and strong telemetry and drip experience.
- Additional Information: The assignment involves caring for patients with neuro-medicine and neurosurgical conditions, including stroke, trauma, and cardiac emergencies. Experience in trauma management, seizure management, and acute stroke is preferred. The schedule includes six weekend shifts over a six-week cycle. The shift begins on 10/26/2026 and ends on 01/24/2027; the position is 13 weeks in duration.
