Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) Nurse in Sacramento. This position involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, general medical-surgical unit that includes telemetry monitoring. The role requires coordination with a multidisciplinary team, adherence to clinical protocols, and flexibility to float to tele beds as needed.

Job Details

• Position Description: The unit supports general medical-surgical patients, including post-operative general and orthopedic cases, with telemetry monitoring capabilities. The unit has a 38-bed capacity, including 8 telemetry beds.
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certifications. Minimum of 2 years of related experience. Valid license to submit.
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, with a shift start time at 6:45 PM, totaling a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The assignment begins on 10/27/2026 and ends on 01/26/2027. Orientation occurs during the first week in Sacramento. Float to tele beds may be required. Candidates should be capable of interpreting EKG strips and managing drips such as Amiodarone and Diltiazem.
