Description
Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in the hospital setting. This position involves providing specialized perioperative nursing care, primarily focusing on orthopedic procedures, including total joint surgeries. The role includes working with advanced robotic technology, such as Davinci robotics, and supporting implementation of new programs.
Job Details
- Certifications: Current BLS certification is required. Scrub experience is highly preferred. Experience with Davinci robotics is necessary.
- Education Requirements: None specified.
- Location Requirements: Must have experience with orthopedic surgeries, including total joint procedures.
- Years of Experience: 0 years minimum required.
- Schedule: Rotating Day/Evening shifts, 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, with on-call responsibilities.
- Additional Information: Candidates must be able to support the implementation of upcoming robotic surgery programs and have strong orthopedic skills. Prior experience with Cerner electronic medical record system is preferred. Orientation is held biweekly. Schedule requests are subject to manager approval. Candidate must have access to own vehicle, as public transportation is not accessible. Profile packets with errors or incomplete information will be returned for correction.
