Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) registered nurse (RN) positions are available at a short-term acute care facility. These roles involve floating across various units including emergency, telemetry, and medical-surgical, supporting diverse patient populations. The position offers a dynamic environment requiring flexibility and experience in US healthcare settings.
Job Details
- Certifications: ACLS*, NIHSS
- Education Requirements: Valid state license; compact license must be in hand at submission
- Years of Experience: 3.0
- Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours, minimum 48 hours per week
- Requirements: Minimum 1 year of related experience, experience in the US healthcare setting required
- Additional Information: Clinicians must have experience in the US. Candidates may be expected to float between neighboring facilities. Candidates are required to respond to specific scheduling requests upfront, including holidays.
- Patient Population: Includes ER boarded patients, telemetry, medical-surgical, and other units as needed
- Responsibilities include management of patients with complex needs, charge responsibilities on small units, and support of interdisciplinary teams.
- Submissions must include responses to questions regarding prior experience at Providence facilities and references covering 1 year within the last 3 years.
