Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse (RN) Portland, ME. Job Details
- Location: Portland, ME
- Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Surgical Floor
- Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Education & Certifications: Required certifications include BLS and RN License; no minimum experience required, but 2+ years of experience is preferred.
- Unit Information: 29 beds, patient ratios to ensure optimal care
- Responsibilities: Manage chronic illness and disability needs, perform physical assessments daily and with change in patient status, administer medications as ordered, update care plans weekly, document clinical notes as needed, advocate for patient safety, and ensure well-being.
- Additional Information: Must be comfortable working in a fragrance-free environment with any color scrubs and acceptable attire.
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours weekly
