Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse Location: Not specified. This position involves providing specialized surgical nursing care within an OR setting focused on neuro, orthopedic trauma, and kidney transplant procedures. The role includes supporting a range of surgical specialties and participating in a 10-hour day shift schedule.

Job Details

• Position Description: BILH coversheet and MA license required. Experience in neuro, orthopedic trauma, and kidney transplants is essential. The role involves scrub and/or circulating general surgery, robotics, transplants, orthopedic, neuro, spine, ENT (primarily head & neck), GYN, Urology, organ procurement, trauma. The team cares for patients undergoing a wide variety of surgical procedures including bariatric, neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedic trauma, spine, major plastic reconstruction, robotic surgery, and kidney and liver transplants.
• Certifications, Education, and Experience Requirements: Valid MA license required. A minimum of 1 year of OR experience is preferred.
• Schedule: Day shift, 10 hours per shift, 40 hours per week.
• Start Date: 10/26/2026.
• Duration: 13 weeks.
• Additional Job Information:
  • Primarily based on the West Main campus but can be floated to east or CVI OR.
  • Up to 2 weekends/month working or on call with a 30-minute response time; short call shifts once a week from 3a-7a or 5p-9p.
  • Holidays work-eligible.
  • RTO must be approved.
  • No local travelers (must reside more than 50 miles from the facility).
  • Orientation weekly (every Monday).
  • Start date is ASAP or within 4 weeks for compliance.
  • Travelers who have worked for Beth Israel Lahey Health within the last six months are ineligible.
