Description
Job Summary
A surgical technician specialized in operating room (ORT) procedures is needed for an acute care facility. This role involves supporting both cardiovascular and general surgical cases, including trauma, orthopedics, gynecology, urology, ENT, plastics, vascular, neuro, and robotics surgeries. The technician will assist in a fast-paced environment with a diverse case load, requiring flexibility and technical proficiency.
Job Details
- Position: Surgical Technician / Operating Room Tech ORT
- Location: Acute care setting
- Shift Schedule: 8-hour days, with call required, every other weekend, and the potential to float as needed
- Certifications: BLS Certification, Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) via NBSTSA; minimum of 2 years' experience in trauma, ortho, and general surgeries
- Qualifications: Certifications, education requirements, and experience requirements as specified.
- Responsibilities: Supporting cardiovascular and general operating room cases, maintaining sterile environments, and ensuring smooth surgical procedures.
- Schedule: Dayshift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must be licensed to submit applications.
