Job Summary
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Specialist, Texas This position involves providing specialized care in a hospital-based Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory setting. The role includes circulating, monitoring, and scrubbing cases related to cardiac, peripheral, neuro, and trauma embolization procedures. The position requires the ability to independently perform case work after a brief orientation period.

Job Details

• Position Description:
  No prescreen required; profiles are sent directly to the unit. A copy of the drivers license is needed at the time of submittal to validate the legal name. Candidates must reflect the name on a government-issued ID with no middle initial or middle name. Candidates may not have been directly employed (full time, part time, or PRN) by any facility associated with the organization, including its affiliates, within the past year. Candidates who were employed PRN through outside firms will be considered.
• Location:
  The position offers flexibility to float between two campuses located in Bryan and College Station, Texas, which are connected and offer a college-town environment.
• Schedule:
  8-hour days, Monday through Friday, starting at approximately 6:30 or 6:00 AM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Call requirement of approximately 10-11 days per month, including one weekend. Call is scheduled progressively, with independent case work expected by the end of orientation.
• Required Qualifications:
  Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS); minimum of 2 years of clinical experience; valid license to submit.
• Additional Information:
  The unit performs approximately 5-15 cases daily, including EP, ICDs, Pacemakers, Ablations, peripheral, and neuro cases. Staff are cross-trained to monitor cases with a GE MacLab/Combo Lab Hemodynamic Monitoring System. Staff circulate cases with 3 team members per case, including circulating nurses, scrub techs, and monitor personnel.
