Job Summary
ICU Registered Nurse (RN) Intensive Care Unit Location: Not Specified. This position involves providing advanced care to adult patients in a critical care setting, utilizing clinical expertise and leadership skills to ensure safe and effective delivery of patient care. The role requires managing complex cases, responding to patient needs promptly, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Job Details

• Certifications & Licenses: California RN License, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS are required. IABP, Impella, PIRRT certifications are preferred.
• Education & Experience: 2+ years of experience in critical care nursing required; minimum of 1 year of travel experience preferred.
• Schedule: Rotating shifts; 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include administering blood products, managing ventilated patients, caring for central lines, and handling emergency medications.
• Skills: Blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, management of dysrhythmias, interpretation of arterial blood gases, ventilator management, and other critical care procedures.
• Additional requirements: Must have recent Nursys licensure verification, upload certifications with valid expiration dates, and provide 2 references within the last year.
• Travel experience is required.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Candidates must complete onboarding labs within 3-5 days of contract signing and meet all compliance requirements, including 7-year work history verification.
• The role involves working every other weekend with on-call duties as needed based on census.
