Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Location: unspecified. This position involves providing high-quality emergency nursing care in a busy Level II Trauma Center, specializing in acute care for patients with diverse and complex medical conditions including Stroke, STEMI, trauma, behavioral health, and critically ill cases. The role is pivotal in ensuring swift and efficient patient management within a large emergency department environment.

Job Details

• Position Description: Emergency Room (ER) Nurse responsible for delivering comprehensive emergency care to a diverse patient population.
• Required Qualifications: Active ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC certifications; relevant nursing degree and license; at least 2 years of ER experience; experience with Epic charting system; available to work days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 48 hours per week; must hold a valid state license.
• Schedule: Days shifts, 12 hours, minimum 48 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Candidates must have experience managing arterial lines, ventilated patients, blood products, central lines, procedural sedation, and other critical care procedures. Experience with Level II trauma centers and certification in stroke or STEMI care is preferred. Candidates should be flexible to float between sister facilities and be prepared to work holidays, with RTO requests submitted upfront.
