Job Summary
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Nurse in a healthcare facility located in California. This role involves providing patient care during the post-anesthesia recovery process, managing patients in the immediate post-surgical phase, and ensuring safety and compliance with clinical protocols. The position requires flexibility in scheduling and the ability to work variable shifts.
Job Details
- Position Description: 3 - 12s shifts, 11:00 AM 11:00 PM or 9:00 AM 9:00 PM; start date is 11/02/2026 with ongoing assignments through 03/08/2027.
- Required Qualifications: Valid California state license (pending license accepted), 1 year of related experience, ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications, experience with End-Tidal CO2 monitoring, airway assessment, medication reconciliation, pulse oximetry, and patient monitoring standards.
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, primarily during daytime hours.
- Additional Information: Candidates must be flexible with shift hours, possess experience in post-anesthesia and recovery care, and be prepared to stay and complete their shifts as scheduled.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must include responses to specific questions regarding prior employment at Providence facilities and provide two references covering at least one year within the last three years.
