Description

Job Summary
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse in the local area. This position involves providing specialized care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum, supporting both high- and low-risk patients. The role requires flexibility, strong caregiving skills, and the ability to support a busy maternal unit.

Job Details

  • Position Description: This position offers an elevated seasonal winter rate. On 2/27, rates will return to standard amounts. Must be flexible working weekends. Precepting skills are preferred. Looking for a strong caregiver who can support PM shift. Local rate match within a 50 mile radius.
  • Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: 3 years of experience, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), AWHONN (Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses) Advanced certification, BLS (Basic Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification, valid license (including compact license if applicable). Experience in community hospital setting, trauma level II experience preferred, and proficiency with charting system Epic is required.
  • Additional Information: Previous charge experience and charting experience in Epic are preferred. Must have skills supporting sterile speculum exams, vaginal delivery, cesarean section, newborn care, and postpartum support. Candidates should be prepared to float between units including mother-baby and postpartum. Candidates are expected to work 3 out of 5 designated holidays and to request all RTO/ scheduling requests during submittal.
