Operating Room (OR) Nurse in an acute care setting is needed for a travel assignment starting October 19, 2026, with an end date of January 18, 2027. The role involves working in a Short Stay Unit with a focus on surgical procedures, requiring adherence to strict clinical protocols and maintaining patient safety standards.
Job Details
- Position Description: The role involves providing perioperative nursing care in an acute care environment, supporting surgical teams and ensuring patient safety during operative procedures.
- Required Qualifications: Valid license to submit, willingness to wait for licensure, ACLS, and BLS Certification; minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a surgical or operating room setting.
- Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week, rotating shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Certification: Applicants must hold ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant clinical experience.
- Additional Information: Non-Oregon licensed RNs can apply and be eligible for a 90-day temporary license if their permanent license is not posted before the start of the assignment. The assignment does not include nights or weekends, with shifts scheduled during daytime hours. Candidates should be prepared for a COVID-19 vaccination or valid exemption.
