Job Summary
Medical Surgical With Telemetry (MS TELE) registered nurses are needed in an acute care setting within a healthcare providers facility in the specified location. This role involves providing compassionate patient care on a unit that specializes in orthopedic and high-flow respiratory patients, utilizing telemetry monitoring. The position requires adaptability, strong communication, and effective time management skills.

Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts (7 a.m. to 7 p.m.), minimum of 48 hours per week, with scheduled every other weekend and holiday shifts.
• Required Qualifications: ACLS and BLS Certification; minimum of 2 years of experience as an RN in Medical Surgical with Telemetry; active license to submit; willingness to float to all Med/Surg units.
• Additional Information: Unit beds: 12. Nurse aides (PCTs) are present with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 5-6/1. Patients on this unit may require Cpap, Bipap, or high-flow oxygen. New staff will undergo two shadow/orientation shifts before independently managing cases. Unit uses allscripts charting system, and the schedule cannot be guaranteed as block scheduling.
• Responsibilities include patient assessment, monitoring, and ensuring compliance with unit protocols.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
