Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in a healthcare organization. This role involves providing specialized nursing care to critically ill patients, ensuring adherence to care plans, and supervising ancillary staff to promote patient safety and optimal health outcomes.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: BLS Certification, ACLS Certification, and a minimum of two years of bedside clinical experience in an ICU setting.
• Responsibilities include performing nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission, developing and executing individual care plans, documenting all patient interactions accurately, participating in patient rehabilitation and discharge planning, and providing direct patient care utilizing the nursing process.
• Additional responsibilities include initiating patient and family education, communicating patient status changes promptly to the care team, delegating tasks appropriately, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and contributing to a positive work environment through team collaboration.
• The role may include assuming charge responsibility following orientation and actively pursuing professional development through continuing education and self-study.
