Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Specialist Location unspecified. This role involves providing critical surgical support within an acute care setting, with experience across various surgical specialties excluding open hearts. The position includes cross-training to Endoscopy and requires adherence to specific procedural and safety standards.

Job Details

• Experience in all areas of the operating room is required, with familiarity in vascular, general, orthopedic, neuro, ENT, and eye surgeries.
• Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in surgical nursing or perioperative care, along with BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification.
• Requires a valid driver's license for submission purposes, with no specific location requirement.
• Schedule involves four 10-hour night shifts per week, with a minimum of 36 hours weekly.
• Call responsibilities include one weeknight call every 4 weeks from 7 PM to 7 AM, and one weekend shift on either Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, up to 24 hours per 13-week contract.
• Must be proficient with Baxter pumps, Phillips and Dynomap robotic systems, and experienced with DaVinci Robot is highly advantageous.
• Charting is performed using the EPIC system.
• Employment spans from 10/26/2026 to 01/25/2027, with start date contingent upon candidate availability.
